No Homework - Have a great weekend.

Homework is an important part of your child’s learning experience.  It is given to reinforce skills taught during our school day.  Nightly assignments should take between 20 –30 minutes.  If your child has any difficulties completing their homework, please write me a note so that I may address it in class.

Please help your child find a quiet place to complete his/her assignments.  Look over their work to be sure they have done their “best”.  Encourage your child to be responsible and organized.  Papers should be placed in their homework folder and returned to school each day.

Please do the majority of independent reading from the Bookbag.  Bookbags MUST be brought back to school each day. Expectations are for students to read 10 – 15 minutes nightly.  More is certainly acceptable and encouraged.
