Thank you for visiting my website! My name is Lemma Taha and I am Woodcliff Middle School’s Dean of Student Wellness, Success, and Counseling.  

I began my career in education  in 2010 as a School Counselor for the Pascack Valley Regional High School District.  I enjoyed eleven wonderful years there as a counselor before assuming the position of Assistant Principal for Cresskill Middle School/High School in July of 2021. My strong suit has always been in directly counseling and supporting the academic, emotional, and personal development of students, and I am thrilled to be serving in that capacity at WCMS!

As Dean of Students, connecting with and building strong relationships with students will always be my top priority.  Students are welcomed to visit my office at any time, as I will be here to support them through all aspects of their middle school experience, as well as their transition to high school.  In addition to connecting with students, I am also happy to serve as a liaison between parents and the school, and welcome ongoing parent communication throughout each school year.  As a team, we will best ensure the emotional health and academic success of every student.  Finally, I work hand-in-hand with Mr. Andriulli and the administrative team to consistently provide teachers and staff members of WCMS with the support to effectively educate, motivate, and ignite the imaginations of our students.

Working with children has always been my passion and as a resident of the Pascack Valley region, I am thrilled to share my experiences and expertise with the Woodcliff Lake Community.  Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have, or to simply say hello!
