Prior to Dorchester Elementary School, I was a health and physical education teacher at Woodcliff Middle School for thirteen years. I also coached the girls’ volleyball team at the middle school for eleven years.
I attended William Paterson University and graduated with a BS in Exercise Science. I continued my education by pursuing a Master of Education at The College of New Jersey. In addition, I hold a Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction Certification. I am also certified in CPR, AED, Blood Borne Pathogens, PLYOGA and Concussion Awareness.
I feel it is important as teachers that we continue to learn and lead by positive examples. I enjoy staying active by playing tennis, volleyball, running, and hiking.
I am very excited to be teaching the children of Dorchester Elementary School and I am looking forward to a great year!
