Welcome to Mrs. Storms kindergarten classroom, a place where children are nurtured and encouraged to grow and develop to reach their greatest potential. 

 This is my 23rd year of teaching.  I have taught Special Education, Reading, and Kindergarten.  Kindergarten is an exciting year as children embark on new adventures in the world of learning. Students will work toward taking risks and challenging themselves in a warm, friendly atmosphere, and cheerful learning environment in which all students respect one another.

Please read to and with your child, every day if possible.  Share your favorite stories and help your child to choose his/her favorites.  Encourage your child to ask questions and guide him/her in finding the answers. Look over your child's work with him/her and review any skills we've covered.   Most importantly, spend time with and enjoy your child.  This year will go by so quickly.  Take time to celebrate small successes and to share experiences, both good and bad. 

I plan to make your child's kindergarten grade experience enjoyable, memorable, and stimulating, and I hope to instill a love of learning in each of my students and to continue  to create life-long learners. I look forward to working with you and your children this year.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.  I look forward to your support.
