My BIO :)

This is my 13th year teaching here at Dorchester School and I could not be more excited!  I look forward to learning about each student and the community of Woodcliff Lake.  I am originally from Long Island, New York.   However, I started my teaching journey far from home, on the beautiful sunset shores of Hawaii, where I taught Special Education in an Inclusive setting.  After teaching in paradise for a year, I returned to the hustle and bustle of the Tri-State area.  I spent four years as a Special Education teacher in an Inclusive setting in grades first through fourth on Long Island.   I am happy to say that my journey has taken me here to Dorchester, my new "home."  

I feel my background and experiences have molded me into the teacher that I am today.  Every student comes to school with different ideas, concerns, strengths and weaknesses.  It is my job as an educator to foster those ideas, ease those concerns, encourage those strengths and develop those weaknesses.  Together as a team, we can make this an amazing year for every student.
