I am Kate Rubino the preschool teacher at Dorchester School. I have been teaching special education for twenty-nine years. I hold a Masters degree in special education from William Paterson University. I am also certified in elementary and early childhood education. I conduct a preschool classroom that is developmentally appropriate. This classroom is rich in language based learning which addresses the needs of children exhibiting a variety of learning styles. The children learn prereadiness skills through activities that teach the children to successfully communicate with peers and adults in their environment. These interactions are the foundation for all future learning.
