9th Period Enrichment Program

For information on joining a course during the semester, please contact:
Patricia Sullivan (psullivan@woodcliff-lake.com)

What is it?
The Ninth Period Enrichment Program is unique to the Woodcliff Lake Schools. It is a student-centered, teacher-run after-school program for all 5th through 8th graders. District teachers develop each course in its entirety. Thus, a wide range of enrichment opportunities is available from which to choose this session! Dates for specific courses vary.

Is there a cost?
This session, there is no cost! Ninth Period courses fall into one of two categories – academic and extra-curricular. Both types are free of charge and funded by the Board of Education. In future sessions, courses marked as extra-curricular in this catalog may have a nominal charge applied.

How do we enroll?
Peruse the course offerings in Dorchester and Woodcliff below! If you would like to enroll in a course, simply click the link under the course name. This will bring you to the online sign-up form (there is no paper sign-up). Once submitted, your child is enrolled for that course. For many of the courses, space is limited and filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. Low enrollment may be cause for cancellation of a course. Please be sure to check availability for course dates and confirm that your child will be able to make all courses. This ensures that students who wish to participate get a spot.
